#1. Go Old-School this Christmas. The John Tigard House (103rd St and Canterbury Lane) is having a special holiday celebration on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 1-4 pm. At this free event, the Tigard Historical Society is hosting a Christmas party. Bundle up the family and head on over. You won’t want to miss this old-school holiday shindig.

#2. Light It Up. Is there anything better than gathering the family for a special Christmas tree lighting ceremony? After all, looking at the beautiful light displays around town is a seasonal highlight year after year. The Downtown Tigard Tree Lighting is on Friday, December 7, 2018 and will include one very jolly special guest. From 6:45-9 pm, watch the annual tree lighting then follow Santa to the “North Pole” for festivities that include crafts, hot cocoa and cookies. Make sure your kids come prepared with their wish lists.

Enjoy the winter activities in Tigard this season, but don’t forget to maintain your healthy dental habits among the many sips of cocoa and bites of holiday treats.
